I’m Amanda Johnson, and my move from building society management to direct sales wasn't a hobby - it was a necessity. As a mum to two young girls, I needed a way to out-earn my corporate salary without missing the moments that actually mattered. I didn't want to just "get by"; I wanted to own my time.
I’ve always had an eye for business and a bit of a restless spirit. I ran my own fashion boutique in Surrey for seven years, and I’m proud to say I’m a Founding Member of Tropic Skincare. I’ve been here since the very first day, and I’ve watched this brand turn from a big idea into the fastest growing skincare business in the UK. Today, I lead a team of hundreds of women who are doing exactly what I did: trading the grind for something they actually enjoy.
Watching the women I coach out-earn their old careers is what keeps me doing this. At 66, I’ve seen the industry change, I’ve handled the setbacks, and I’ve built the blueprint so you don’t have to guess.
